The Center at the University of Florida has experience working in West Africa, the Muslim Sahel countries (e.g. Chad, Niger and Mali), and with Muslim movements in Nigeria. Research areas include governance, religious studies, approaches to predicting political stability, political system development, and elections and violence.

Center for Human Rights, Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia
Center for Human Rights works on advancing the rule of law, democratic governance and human rights in Ethiopia through high-end research, teaching and community services.

Churches in Action for Peace and Development (CAPAD), Nigeria
Churches in Action for Peace and Development has expertise in human rights, democratization and good governance, war on terror and militarization, conflict resolution and reconciliation. CAPAD also has experience working on humanitarian disarmament and the role of West African States in efforts aimed at eliminating nuclear weapons.

The Heritage Institute, Mogadishu, Somalia
The Heritage Institute for Policy Studies is the first tink tank in Somalia established to advance peace, the rule of law, and a culture of learning in Somalia.
