Evaluation of the rights of LGBTI youth in southern Africa

Zimbabwe, Zambia, South Africa

Project Leader: Elisabeth Fosseli Olsen

Aim of the project

ILPI has been selected to evaluate SAIH’s programme on the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) youth and non-discrimination in Southern Africa. The programme aims to support and build strong networks among LGBTI organizations in Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa. Another aim of the programme is to enhance knowledge and thus contribute to the capacity among young human rights defenders.

The evaluation will document the outcomes of the programme. ILPI’s report will be used as a learning-document for further development of the partners’ projects and the SAIH programme.
