Paul Beggan is a leading anti-corruption expert with more than 20 years experience working with accountability institutions in Africa on governance, change management and monitoring. He has specialised in the design, monitoring, and capacity building for anti-corruption programmes. Paul holds practical experience of working closely with public officials and organizations on issues of legislation, regulation, systems reform and policy development. Paul has worked as team leader and advisor on issues of anti-corruption and transparency for a number of clients including DFID, Uganda Revenue Authority, the Directorate of Ethics and Integrity Uganda and the Government of Nigeria. Paul has also worked on anti-corruption programmes in Zambia and Sierra Leone. He holds a MBA from the Open University, Milton Keynes, and a Bachelors of Science in Public Administration from Dublin University in addition to diplomas in accounting and finance and public administration.
